TracFone Wireless, Inc. (TFWI) is an American prepaid, no-contract mobile phone provider. Lydia shares her experience on cunsumeraffairs.com, "I purchased a phone to replace the free one Safelink sent me as the battery kept dying. When I received the new phone it was not what I ordered, nor could it be activated. I returned it the same day. Now they say they do not have returned the phone and their purchase receipt claims I spent $24.00. I have no phone and out the money because it was on a stimulus card from Duval county FL. The credit card company refuses to refund me. Worst service I have ever experienced."

"the product was inferior so not a lot of sales management was inept co workers were cool the sale s was the hardest part nothing was good pay was lousynonenone"

Representative (Former Employee) says

"Safelink is horrible. You go out on a street corner and try and sign people up. You need a smart phone or tablet with internet service that you provide. You DO NOT make an hourly wage, everything is commission. It was hard to get people signed up due to the fact that so much was paperwork was required from the customer. I would not suggest this company. When it was time it get paid, it was like pulling teeth. You stand out on a street corner 8 hours and only make like 5 dollars.NoneHorrible"

Street team rep. (Former Employee) says

"I would go out in the morning find a place to set up a tent amd my tables, then put all my signs out and when people would come I would put all there information in a tablet and if they are approved they would get a free phone. If they wasnt approved they would. At the end of the day how ever many phones I was to give out was how my pay was based etc if I gave out 10 phones I made 100 dollars."

Customer Service (Former Employee) says

"On a typical work day you would come into the office discuss what , see what you could have done better happen out on the field. I learned better people skills, how to make a sale pitch to different people. Management was ok it could have been better. The hardest part about the job was that you only got paid based off of commission, so if you didn't make any sales that day you wouldn't get paid at all. Another part was the working conditions, I Was working door to door so if the weather was bad I still had to go out. Also the hours was ridiculous am average work day would be from 10am-8pm the most all day non-stop walking and going door to door. The only part that I liked about the job was that you made your own hours and money, but at times with that it would be bad because of the product we were selling mot of the consumers already had.Working your own hoursComminsion only, no benefits"
